New Project: National Fitness Company
June 21st, 2008 by Gregory Silvano Posted in Stature Projects | Comments OffWe’re excited to be starting a new project in June for a national sports/fitness company. The project consists of a lot of web services, SQL Server 2005, C#, and AJAX code, so it’s right up our alley.
This project is a little different in that we’re working with a web design company, so we don’t need to work on the wireframes, user interface, graphics, and things like that. We just need to code the nuts and bolts, which is fine by me. Could be a match made in heaven.
Thanks Allister for choosing Stature!
New Project: Dynamic PDF In ASP.NET
June 1st, 2008 by Gregory Silvano Posted in Stature Projects | Comments OffWe’re starting a project this week that dynamically generates a Microsoft Word document, allows users to download the document, make edits, and then upload the edited Word document and create a PDF.
The hard part is ensuring the PDF looks exactly like the Word document, but we’ve done this kind of project before for another client and have developed a great set of libraries to handle this. Letting users edit in Word is a great feature…there are few better editing tools available than Word, especially in a corporate environment.
New Project: Crystal Reports
May 28th, 2008 by Gregory Silvano Posted in Stature Projects | Comments OffJoe Patalano has helped a former boss every now and then on a Crystal Report project at the boss’ new company. We were pleased to increase our role on this project and have one of our developers spend some time to enhance the report and architecture.
It’s not a huge project but keeps Stature in the loop of a successful, nationally-recognized restaurant chain.
Could be the start of something good. Thanks Ken!

Thanks Chad & David!
New Project: ASP.NET with MySQL Rewrite
May 1st, 2008 by Gregory Silvano Posted in Stature Projects | Comments OffWe’re starting a small project this week with a financial company in New York City. They had an internal developer who left a project unfinished, so we’re going to take the project and get it into production.
The web code is in ASP.NET but the developer used MySQL for the database instead of Microsoft SQL Server. Not sure why that was (he was probably just more familiar with it) but since everything else at the company is already Microsoft based (including other databases) we’re going to take the opportunity to migrate the MySQL database to SQL Server, mostly as-is. I’d rather keep them on a consistent platform than have their internal developer deal with both MySQL and SQL Server every day.
We’re very excited about working with this new client. They have a great attitude and very realistic expectations
