Windows Update Crashes Outlook
May 15th, 2008 by Gregory Silvano Posted in Technology | No Comments »Just a stupid observation here.
Whenever Windows Update automatically reboots my computer overnight, the next morning Outlook complains that my PST file was improperly closed and needs to be checked for errors. And of course when you’re dealing with a 2GB PST file, it’s not a quick process.
I just find it amazing that the Windows Update team didn’t think to properly close Outlook, or, I dunno, say any other flagship Microsoft product. It’s just odd.
